Surgery

Prior to surgery, your pet is examined and pre-anesthetic lab work is performed. This examination and lab work, along with past anesthetic history, breed, pre-existing conditions, and age are considered to create an individualized anesthesia protocol to ensure your pet’s safety. We utilize gas anesthesia (Isoflurane) which is the safest anesthesia available. While your pet is under anesthesia, it is constantly monitored for changes in heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygenation, and body temperature.
