Dermatology

A lot of the dermatological diseases can have a similar appearance, therefore we recommend performing a full dermatology examination for all animals with skin issues. A full dermatology work up includes skin scrapings, fungal culture, and impression smears which will look for infectious agents such as bacteria, fungus, mites etc. There are some skin diseases that will require further diagnostics (i.e. skin biopsy).
